We are looking for someone special to join our team on a permanent basis to help us welcome lots of lovely new children to our nursery.  We will consider full-time and part-time applicants.  Applicants must be qualifed to Level 3 or equivalent in Early Years.

The successful applicant will be given lots of opportunies for further training and professional development.

Job Vacancy - Relief/Bank Staff
We are looking for enthusiastic people who would like the flexibility to work within a nursery on a part-time basis around their other family/study commitments.  The successful applicants would help us to cover staff absence such as annual leave, training and sickness. 
Applicants will ideally have a recognised childcare qualification but this is not essential, but they MUST have experience of working with children.
Childcare training for a recognised qualification is potentially available for successful candidates
We offer an attractive salary package as well as a generous 40% discount for staff children. Holiday entitlement is 28 days pro rata, per annum (including Bank Holidays) and we always close for Bank Holidays and over the Christmas period. Further training is available for all successful candidates.

Please note that due to the nature of the nurseries' work, employees are not exempt from the provisions of Section 4 (2) of the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974, by virtue of the (Exceptions) Order 1975 as amended by the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 (Exceptions) and the (Amendment) Order 1986. Employees are therefore not entitled to withhold information about convictions which for other purposes are 'spent' under the provisions of the Act. Any failure to disclose such convictions could result in dismissal or disciplinary action.

The nursery fees are inclusive of all meals, snacks and drinks, and suncream in the summer months. Our fees are very competive within the local area, considering the high quality of care we offer.

We also provide extra-curricular activities from Super Star Sports, Musical Maverics and mindfulness from L is 4 Learning for free*.  We also run weekly Forest School sessions at Desborough Pocket Park, with a qualfiied Forest School member of our team.

(There is a meal/consumable charge for those children in receipt of 15hrs FEEE subsidised funding and attending on a term time basis)

The nursery is closed for all Bank Holidays and for the period between Christmas and New Year. We do not charge nursery fees for Bank Holidays or for the period between Christmas and New Year.

We offer a 10% Sibling Discount which is applied to the eldest child’s nursery or out of school club fees, unless one or more siblings are in receipt of the 15hr or 30hr FEEE subsidised funding.

**The discounted full-time weekly rate is not available to those children in receipt of the FEEE subsidised funding

Payment options:

Parents are invoiced for their child’s fees a month in an advance. These can be paid using cash, cheque, Childcare Vouchers, Tax Free Childcare Scheme or by Electronic transfer.

Caterpillar Day Nursery - EY411010

Ofsted is the Office for Standards in Education, Children’s Services and Skills. They regulate and inspect to achieve excellence in the care of children and young people, and

in education and skills for learners of all ages.

We were inspected in August 2019 and very pleased to say that we had a Good outcome, which was excellent news and demonstrated that Ofsted also recognised the excellent service we provide for our children and parents.

Caterpillar Out of School and Holiday Club - EY435348

You can read the full report for our Out of School Club held at Meadowdale primary school by clicking here.  We also received a Good outcome from Ofsted and this demonstrates that we deliver the same high standards at the Out of School Club as at our Nursery.
