Job Vacancy - Qualified Practitioner (part-time)
We are looking for individuals to join our lovely team on a part-time basis, working five half days a week. Applicants must be qualified with an Early Years qualification, either at Level 2 or 3 or above.
We offer an attractive salary package to all our staff as well as a generous childcare discount for staff children. Holiday entitlement is 29 days pro rata, per annum (including Bank Holidays), and we always close for Bank Holidays and over the Christmas period. Please note that due to the nature of the nurseries' work, employees are not exempt from the provisions of Section 4 (2) of the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974, by virtue of the (Exceptions) Order 1975 as amended by the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 (Exceptions) and the (Amendment) Order 1986. Employees are therefore not entitled to withhold information about convictions which for other purposes are 'spent' under the provisions of the Act. Any failure to disclose such convictions could result in dismissal or disciplinary action.

There is a meal charge for those children in receipt of 15hrs or 30hrs FEEE subsidised funding
The nursery is closed for all Bank Holidays and the period between Christmas and New Year. We do not charge nursery fees for Bank Holidays or the period between Christmas and New Year, however, fees are still charged for any other absences, such as illness or holidays

Payment options:
Parents are invoiced for their child’s fees a month in advance. These can be paid using cash, cheque, Childcare Vouchers, Tax Free Childcare Scheme or by Electronic transfer.

Ofsted is the Office for Standards in Education, Children’s Services and Skills. They regulate and inspect to achieve excellence in the care of children and young people, and
in education and skills for learners of all ages.
We were inspected in August 2019 and very pleased to say that we had a Good outcome, which was excellent news and demonstrated that Ofsted also recognised the excellent service we provide for our children and parents.
