Job Vacancy - Qualified Practitioner (part-time)

Please note that due to the nature of the nurseries' work, employees are not exempt from the provisions of Section 4 (2) of the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974, by virtue of the (Exceptions) Order 1975 as amended by the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 (Exceptions) and the (Amendment) Order 1986. Employees are therefore not entitled to withhold information about convictions which for other purposes are 'spent' under the provisions of the Act. Any failure to disclose such convictions could result in dismissal or disciplinary action.

Our fees are very competitive within the local area, considering the high quality of care we offer*.

There is a meal charge for those children in receipt of 15hrs or 30hrs FEEE subsidised funding

The nursery is closed for all Bank Holidays and the period between Christmas and New Year. We do not charge nursery fees for Bank Holidays or the period between Christmas and New Year, however, fees are still charged for any other absences, such as illness or holidays

Nursery Fees - May 2026 - April 2027

We offer a 10% Sibling Discount, which is applied to the eldest child’s nursery fees, unless one or more siblings receive the 15hr or 30hr FEEE subsidised funding.

* There may be a  charge for the extra-curricular activities, celebrations, and special events

**The discounted full-time weekly rate is not available to those children in receipt of the FEEE subsidised funding

Payment options:

Parents are invoiced for their child’s fees a month in advance. These can be paid using cash, cheque, Childcare Vouchers, Tax Free Childcare Scheme or by Electronic transfer.

Caterpillar Day Nursery - EY411010

Ofsted is the Office for Standards in Education, Children’s Services and Skills. They regulate and inspect to achieve excellence in the care of children and young people, and

in education and skills for learners of all ages.

We were inspected in August 2019 and very pleased to say that we had a Good outcome, which was excellent news and demonstrated that Ofsted also recognised the excellent service we provide for our children and parents.

Caterpillar Out of School and Holiday Club - EY435348

You can read the full report for our Out of School Club held at Meadowdale primary school by clicking here.  We also received a Good outcome from Ofsted and this demonstrates that we deliver the same high standards at the Out of School Club as at our Nursery.
